Bio-Injection Molding
Using the injection molding process, we process different granulates. These include for example natural fiber (hemp or flax) and polylactide (PLA) blends or the lignin-based arboform. In bio-injection molding, the melted granules are injected into a molding tool using the appropriate injection molding parameters. The mold then forms the part, afterward, the molded compound is cooled down. After the molded part is cooled, it is removed from the mold.
Organic granules are petroleum-free, biodegradable and made of 100% renewable raw materials. Thus, the production of a molded part is primarily CO2-neutrally, from the raw material to the finished component.
The bio-injection process does not differ significantly from regular injection molding. Of course, we can also produce molded parts made of regular plastics like ABS or polypropylene with injection molding.

Fine tuning to the exact result
Within injection molding, we can calibrate the desired properties of the molded part through the tools and the manufacturing process. This allows the molded parts to have a flexible 3D shape and to achieve the desired strength of the component. Clever toolmaking can additionally influence the feel and material quality.
-
Large-Scale Production
The injection molding process is ideally suited for medium to large series production because molded parts can be produced quickly and are ready for immediate use
-
No Post-Processing
In the injection molding process, a finished molded part is created that requires no further processing steps
-
Assembly
Upon customer request, we can assemble the products according to specifications
